THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BUYING YOUR ALBIN VEGA

Albin vega generally comes under the sailboat category. It is 27 feet long sailboat. Albin Vega is created by a Swedish designer called Per Brohall in 1964. After the massive success of Brohall’s Viggen 23, he was wanting to design a boat that would more light than the other boats but it also has to be enough space in it and as well as fast and seaworthy. So in 1964 Brohall made this little fiberglass 27 footer sailboats. Which fully filled all of his requirements and the boat is called ‘ALBIN VEGA’.

Albin vega’s design may resemble with skinny lines folk boat. And people may compare its space with modern boats but Albin vega’s lengthwise timber or structure along the base of a ship is different from that folk boat. Its long keel supports the framework of the whole. And in some cases extended downwards as the backbone is used to increase stability. Though Albin vega is no longer in its manufacturing business during its glorious 10-year production, almost 3000 Albin vega was constructed. But there are thousands of Albin vega for sale in various parts of the world.

Little history:

Brohall was one of the introducers of the concept of fiberglass construction. He first introduced this concept in Sweden and published numerous books about how to make a boat of wood. Along with Larsson, he designed many wooden boats, which include Albin 25, 21, and 30. But among them, Albin Vega gains a huge amount of popularity in the market of sailboats and widely known for its features. In its early days, it gained popularity among the people of Scandinavia but a quantity of Albin vega was sold to the rest of Europe and places as Greenland and Hawaii.

Layout and configuration:
The highest part of Albin Vega has a mainsail and jib rigged fore and aft. It also has a coat with a front cutaway which is extremely severe and a flat piece hinged vertically near the stern of a boat for steering. An Albin vega’s structure is not similar to all those traditional full keel boats but it is mostly altered to half of the length of its plimsoll line, it helps to keep track of it’s while it's creating less abrading and giving better illumination air performance.
